Supervisory Physical Security Specialist

The selectee will serve as Supervisory Physical Security Specialist in the Technical Security Division (TSD). Typical work assignments include:

  1. Serving as a subject matter expert for large scale protective activities in various technical security specialized programs and developing and implementing technical investigative programs for protective advances and activities.
  2. Identifying and implementing procedures and logistical planning in preparation for various types of countermeasures and overseeing and conducting the full range of law enforcement activities as it relates to protection, surveillance, and undercover investigations.
  3. Directing the work of employees engaged in protective, investigative, technical, and administrative work and planning and providing technical direction for projects.
  4. Coordinating security requirements with internal and external law enforcement stakeholders and participating in meetings with other management officials.

This Supervisory Physical Security Specialist position starts at a salary of $107,446 (GS-14, step-1), with a promotion potential to $139,684 (GS-14, Step-10).
