HPC / EDA Workloads Engineer (AWS) Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required Overview
This role focuses on High Performance Computing (HPC) and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads in AWS. You will support compute-intensive workloads requiring optimization for scale, latency, and throughput. Responsibilities
• Design and deploy HPC environments in AWS (ParallelCluster, Batch, Slurm)
• Optimize compute workloads for performance and cost efficiency
• Support EDA tools and workflows in cloud environments
• Implement scalable compute architectures (Spot instances, auto scaling)
• Work with storage solutions optimized for HPC (FSx for Lustre, high-throughput EFS)
• Automate workload orchestration and job scheduling
• Collaborate with engineering teams on workload tuning Required Skills
• Experience with AWS HPC tools and services
• Understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing
• Familiarity with EDA environments/workflows
• Strong Linux systems knowledge
• Experience tuning high-performance workloads Preferred
Background in semiconductor, research computing, or simulation workloads
Experience with Slurm or similar workload schedulers Clearance

Salary Range: 140,000 – 200,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
