Join our team and help revolutionize how ATC trainees master critical ATC concepts, procedures, and skills.Essential FunctionsProvide expertise on ATC training curriculum, processes, and tools at the ATC schoolhouse / academy and training facilities and identify challenges and ways to improve.Develop use cases and design innovative instructional games, skills trainers, tools, modern classroom concepts, and evaluation methods to address training challenges.Collaborate with and lead software developers to build AI-enabled, engaging, mobile learning & teaching tools, including phraseology trainers, and skills simulations for all ATC positions.Align training platform to US Navy (NAVAIR 00-80T-114), FAA (JO 7110.65), and international (ICAO Doc 4444 (PANS-ATM) standards, orders, and curriculum-based learning objectives.Communicate (verbally and in writing) complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, within FAA, US DoD, and internationally. Develop technical documents and reports.Provide expertise on the design of future aviation concepts such as Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO), FF-ICE, UAS / Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).Required QualificationsMinimum 4 years' operational ATC experience across at least one facility type: Tower (CIC/OSS), TRACON, or ARTCC/Center.Minimum 2 years' experience with ATC instruction within the Navy Schoolhouse (NATTC) in Pensacola or FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. On the Job Training (OJT) instruction is desired but doesn't satisfy this requirement.Understanding of National Airspace System (NAS) automation systems (STARS, ERAM, TFMS, etc.).Creative and systematic mindset with ability to conceptualize and communicate innovative training solutions and gamification concepts.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate complex ATC operational concepts verbally and in writing to non-controller audiences.Desired SkillsFamiliarity with ATC simulation platforms (UFA, Adacel, ATCoach, ATSpeak, or comparable)International ATC experience: ICAO-compliant operations, ANSP engagement, or ATC procedure development for non-FAA environments.Working familiarity with Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO) and FF-ICE operational implications for ATC workload and procedure design.Development of technical documents such as White Papers, Design documents, Concepts of Operations, test plans, and reports.#J-18808-Ljbffr
