Position Title: Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO)LocationTampa, FLPosition OverviewKey ResponsibilitiesThe JICO serves as USSOCOM's Operations Directorate, Global Mission Support Center Command and Control Support Cell (J33 C2 Support Cell) principal technical expert by reviewing and evaluating U.S. and partner nation (PN) Tactical Data Link (TDL) and Multi‑TDL Network (MTN) operations, capturing and developing Information Exchange Requirements (IER), and making recommendations for U.S. SOF–SOF PN interoperability.Required QualificationsMust be a US CitizenActive TS clearance and SCI eligibility; able to securely handle / safeguard classified informationBS degree; degree can be substituted for extensive operational experienceEight+ years relevant work experienceIn-depth, working knowledge of TDL and Multi‑TDL Architecture (MTA) physical and cyber configuration, organization, and operations, including Link‑16, Link‑22, Mode 5 IFF, MADL, TTNT, C2BMC, GCCS, JRE, ADSI, Cross Domain Solution (CDS), etc.In-depth knowledge of processes to develop and oversee TDL requirements, agreements, and Information Exchange Requirements (IER) in a joint / coalition operational environmentWorking knowledge of TDL / Link‑16 cryptographic modernization and advanced capabilities strategies and effortsMust be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (globally in support of SOF)Preferred Skills & ToolsJICO certification (completion of JT‑101 Introduction of Joint Multi‑TDL (MTN) Operations Course, JT‑102 Multi‑TDL Advance Joint Interoperability (MAJIC) course, JT‑201 Multi‑TDL Planners Course, and JT‑301 CAPSTONE – JICO)Familiarity with Combined Joint All‑Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) strategyExperience working with Geographic Combatant CommandsExperience working and coordinating with foreign partner nationsExperience with high‑level military staff briefings and action itemsHighly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing / briefing skillsAbility to support a dynamic, fast‑paced work environmentClearance RequiredACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI EligibilityEducationBS degree; degree can be substituted for extensive operational experience.
