Overview The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Senior Consultant to deliver solutions that solve our client's business challenges through hands‑on technical implementation and enablement of recommended practices.In this role you will promote adopting RedHat solutions, bringing technical expertise and interpersonal skills. You will work on‑site with clients, traveling 30‑40 weeks per year in North America. Eligibility requires residence in a state where RedHat does business and an Active TopSecret SCI Clearance.What you will do Guide customers in building scalable, optimally managed solutions adaptable to technological improvements using RedHat technologies.Assist in developing customer use cases into project plans and aligning requirements with RedHat technologies.Deliver projects as a technical lead, collaborating on timelines, maintaining documentation, and presenting to senior IT and business executives.Travel to client locations weekly, Monday‑Thursday.Continuously learn, grow, and adapt to new skills and technologies.What you will bring Required experience Active TopSecret SCI clearance.Experience delivering implementations based on an architectural design.Ability to lead a technical project, including collaborating on project timelines and maintaining project and technical documentation.Ability to identify stakeholder needs and set expectations regarding project timelines and scope of work.Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Knowledge and desire to mentor.Technical skills Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline.Technical certifications such as Security+ and Network+.Experience delivering modern cloud platform consulting engagements.Linux system administration, preferably RedHat Enterprise Linux or a derivative.Experience with source code management tools such as GitLab.Experience with or working knowledge of Ansible.Experience with enterprise cloud solutions such as Platform‑as‑a‑Service.Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.Basic knowledge of networking principles such as TCP, DNS, DHCP, IP.Broad and deep experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies such as OpenStack, RedHat Virtualization, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.Track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives, including presenting to C‑level executives at large firms.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Training & Skill Development After joining RedHat you will undergo an intensive customized training program. In the first year you will gain:By month two, understanding how to build production‑ready solutions integrated with existing enterprise systems and learning consulting skills through RedHat‑led enablements.By month six, successful collaborative delivery of customer projects as a technical lead, and development of project plans aligned with RedHat technologies.By month twelve, demonstrating technical leadership through successful implementation of complex, large‑scale solutions and knowledge sharing with communities of practice.Compensation The salary range for this position is $118,600.00–$195,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. The position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
