Our team is responsible for overseeing all on‑site F‑35 contractor support operations at Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base and this position will be the primary customer liaison to the 173FW leadership for new mission requirements and stand‑up activities to support Air National Guard pilot training for the F‑35A.ResponsibilitiesBe the single‑point of contact overseeing all on‑site F‑35 contractor support operations at Kingsley Field and serve as the primary customer liaison in the field.Report to the AFS Field Operations Regional Lead and coordinate with the Sustainment Program Manager on Performance‑Based Logistics requirements.Manage overall responsibilities for on‑site contractor technical services, Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), contractor logistics support maintenance, Field Support Engineers, training system support, support equipment coordination, sustainment spares warehouse liaison services, and local Maintenance, Upgrade, and Overhaul (MUO) activities.Communicate Fighter Wing/Squadron priorities and needs to the Lightning Support Center and key program management personnel to resolve critical maintenance and supply issues.Manage project and support resources in compliance with cost goals and operating budgets while fostering growth of technical and professional competence of the on‑site support team.Ensure responsive support to operational and support concerns of the local customer and ensure all contractor activities meet expected standards.Coordinate and support industry and deployed Contractor Field Team visits to the site.Oversee all on‑site contractor activities, plan and schedule teamwork assignments (including potential contractor deployment packages), enforce safety and physical security procedures and directives, and manage labor charges and administrative documentation.Ensure personnel compliance with program, company, and government agency policies and procedures and coordinate staffing and training requirements.Be willing to work any shift, including weekends.Travel as required.Basic QualificationsAt least 5 years of aircraft maintenance, operations, or supply professional experience.Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across multiple levels of the business and across a variety of functions.Demonstrated experience coaching teams, resulting in overall team growth and performance improvements.Demonstrated experience managing aircraft, product or system engineering support.Working knowledge of aircraft operations in and around aviation/aeronautical environments.Experience working with aviation systems and processes, and/or logistics support.Must be a United States citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.Desired SkillsAt least 10 years of aircraft maintenance, operations, or supply professional experience.Experience working and interacting with senior management within unit, operations, and maintenance communities.Knowledge of F‑35 pilot and maintainer systems and processes, and/or logistics support.Broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills effective in a high‑tempo operational environment.Strong verbal and written skills and the ability to lead clear communication techniques.Ability to effectively communicate with supporting companies such as Pratt & Whitney, NGC, and local base and ship authorities.Prior military or civilian equivalent operational maintenance and logistics experience, specifically organizational and intermediate maintenance experience.Expert authority in the maintenance, operations, and support disciplines.Familiarity with the F‑35 logistics, ALIS, technical publications approach, and supportable low‑observable support concept beneficial.Security ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.BenefitsFlexible work schedules and comprehensive benefits package.Equal Opportunity StatementLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
