This is a developmental, field-based role designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship while working alongside certified Inspectors and Technicians.What You'll Be Doing Support inspections, testing, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and/or PFE & kitchen hood systems under supervisionPrepare tools, testing devices, and materials for inspectionsAssist with documenting inspection results accurately and consistentlyLearn to identify system deficiencies and assist with troubleshooting as directedParticipate in on-the-job training and certification programsFollow safety procedures, company standards, and documentation requirementsInteract professionally with customers, site contacts, and internal team membersWhat We're Looking For Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethicWillingness to learn technical systems and follow proceduresInterest in fire alarm or fire & life safety systemsAbility to complete assignments with increasing independence as skills developBasic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferredFamiliarity with mobile devices or digital documentation toolsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordWillingness to pursue required certifications and licensingCareer Growth Fire Protection Services supports a structured apprenticeship pathway aligned with industry licensing and certification requirements.
