OverviewAs a Cyber Technical Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties.DescriptionExpert-level Technical targeter to help plan, execute, and coordinate cyber projects. A successful candidate will work independently to support cyber programs by understanding needs and implementing cyber solutions. This position requires significant experience working with and advising stakeholders on successful courses of action.ResponsibilitiesDesign and conduct technical cyber projects, demonstrating technical subject matter expertiseAdvise stakeholders and guide through successful project implementationProduce written evaluations and project reports as requestedCreate, edit, and deploy strategic communications productsShow initiative and generate targeting solutionsData triageEnrich and shape project processes, leading to successful implementation and wrap-upRequired SkillsDemonstrated targeting experienceExperience with offensive and defensive cyber conceptsDemonstrated ability to explain technical solutions to an audience of varying technical understandingExperiencing prioritizing projects to implementUnderstanding of rules and regulations governing each projectAbility to work with multiple stakeholdersPrior travel experienceKey InformationThe technical targeter will deploy from the U.S. to an overseas conflict zone on the following schedule:One week in Tyson's Corner area for pre-deployment coordination;Sixty days (approximately) at deployment site;One week in Tyson's Corner area for post-deployment debriefs and coordination.This cycle will occur twice each year, totaling approximately five months of work. This position is high impact mission work. While deployed, the targeter will likely work 10-16 hour days for six or seven days a week.
