The Franklin County Office of Emergency Management & Communications is seeking applications/resumes for the position of Telecommunicator. The Telecommunicator is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, and disseminating information, intelligence and directing responders to 911 emergency and non-emergency requests for service for law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical service, emergency management, public works agencies, utility services, animal control and other entities/services as assigned. The Telecommunicator is responsible for monitoring telephones, radios, camera systems, and other mediums, as well processing information gathered from State, Federal, and local agencies to generate intelligence briefs and further promote public safety within Franklin County.
