Provides executive leadership to the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology; oversees the administrative operations of the office, directs, manages, and is responsible for all aspects of the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology activity, including, but not limited to, licensing, fiscal, budgeting, hiring, firing, training, supervision of staff, investigations of alleged violations of ORC 4753, etc. In addition, responsible for reviewing/recommending possible rule changes for the professions (ORC 4753), coordinates with the board on board activities/issues (provides information and professional advice, coordinate board meetings, follow-up to board issues, etc.), handling public relations for Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, provides/coordinates information for public requests, prepares and delivers presentations about requirements for licensure, etc.Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or closely related area.Or 24 months experience in administrative, management or supervisory position.Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.Applicationprocessing will begin after Jan. 1, 2009.#J-18808-Ljbffr
