Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate cybersecurity requirements throughout the medical device development lifecycle.
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analysis.
  • Design and implement security features such as secure boot, secure communications, access controls, encryption, and software update mechanisms.
  • Support security architecture reviews and secure product design.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate product security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with Software, Systems, Electrical, Firmware, and Quality teams.
  • Apply cybersecurity standards and guidance (NIST, OWASP, IEC 81001-5-1, FDA).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Product Security, Embedded Security, Application Security, or Cybersecurity Engineering experience.
  • Experience with threat modeling and security risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and Security-by-Design principles.
  • Strong collaboration and technical communication skills.
