Key Responsibilities
- Integrate cybersecurity requirements throughout the medical device development lifecycle.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analysis.
- Design and implement security features such as secure boot, secure communications, access controls, encryption, and software update mechanisms.
- Support security architecture reviews and secure product design.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate product security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with Software, Systems, Electrical, Firmware, and Quality teams.
- Apply cybersecurity standards and guidance (NIST, OWASP, IEC 81001-5-1, FDA).
- Support cybersecurity activities for connected and embedded medical devices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of Product Security, Embedded Security, Application Security, or Cybersecurity Engineering experience.
- Experience with threat modeling and security risk assessments.
- Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and Security-by-Design principles.
- Strong collaboration and technical communication skills.
