Assistant Bus Dispatcher

Transportation

Hours: M-TH, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, F 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, 12 month

Effective: Immediately

Duties include:

  • Coordinate field trip transportation

  • Assist with year-round routing

  • Manage heavy call volume

  • Maintain staff records and trip logs

Salary: In accordance with Buildings & Grounds Supervisors Association agreement (

Job Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school

  • At least 21 years of age

  • One year satisfactory bus driving and/or motor vehicle dispatching experience

  • Valid driver's license with CDL preferred [or obtained after hire]

  • Meet and maintain New York State Article 19-A requirements

  • Proficient in MS & Google Suite and Transfinder

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish highly preferred
