Technical Analyst - Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Technical Analyst - Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the Security Architecture Department supporting the Cryptography and Risk Management teams, you will play a crucial role in advancing enterprise readiness for postquantum cryptography.
Location: New York, NY
Pay Range: $70-$75 per hour
What's the Job?
- Assess PQC readiness across PKI, IAM, applications, infrastructure, and data in transit use cases.
- Validate cryptographic assets such as certificates, keys, and cipher suites vulnerable to quantum threats.
- Support the development of PQC roadmaps, cryptoagility strategies, and remediation plans.
- Assist with vendor evaluations, requirements definition, and comparative analysis of PQC solutions.
- Translate technical findings into risk-based insights for security leadership and governance forums.
What's Needed?
- Strong foundation in applied cryptography, including PKI, TLS, key management, and certificates.
- Working knowledge of postquantum cryptography concepts and NIST PQC standards.
- Experience with enterprise security architecture, cryptographic inventory, or certificate lifecycle management.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated environments and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting risk-based prioritization of cryptographic remediation and aligning initiatives with security policies and standards.
