Instructor Responsibilities

We are seeking a part-time instructor (20 hours per week) who will be responsible for instructing two unclassified, virtual courses via MS Team. There are two courses a month with instruction running five hours a day for four days a week (Monday through Thursday). When courses are not in session, the instructors will work with Instructional Systems Designers to update content.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides dedicated virtual instruction and facilitation for NCSC-SSD
• Supports SSD training programs to train all levels of personnel across the IC, federal government, and private sector
• Administers experiential learning experiences/simulations
• Works with ISDs to continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
• Coordinates with Training Administrators on class arrangements, conducts training classes, and facilitates training classes
• Keeps abreast of technical knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the subject matter
• Leverages innovative technology, methods, materials, and techniques to improve course interactivity

Qualifications include:

• Requires a minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA, Minimum of 7 years with PhD, will consider 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
• Requires demonstrated expertise in personnel security adjudication.
• Previous experience as an Instructor in the Intelligence Community preferred

Target Salary Range:

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
