About the RoleAs a Telecommunicator in aviation, you'll be the unseen essential link. From 911 emergencies to supporting emergency landing procedures and airport operations, you'll coordinate communications that keep our airport humming 24/7. Working side‑by‑side with a tight‑knit crew of skilled Telecommunicators and reporting to the Telecommunications Supervisor, you'll help guide the safe and efficient response to situations involving police, fire, EMS and airport operations. Every shift is a new flight path—routine or unexpected—and your calm coordination helps ensure a smooth landing every time. If you're looking for a career where you're always in the loop, never grounded, and your voice keeps the airport moving, we're ready for you to join the team.CompensationMaximum – Based on experienceMinimum – $19.76What You'll DoProvide efficient response to emergency and non‑emergency calls for assistance concerning crimes, fires, rescue needs, FAA flight information, maintenance, parking services, or other general information.Effectively prioritize and document calls for service to include location, jurisdiction, action, and agency to dispatch.Operate an 800 MHz radio system to contact Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Fire, Airport Operations, Traffic Control, Information Services, Maintenance, FAA, Parking, and other units; provide information about the situation in real time and dispatch appropriate personnel.Operate a computer‑aided dispatch system (CAD) to receive, review, and prioritize emergency and non‑emergency calls and requests for assistance from airport employees, tenants, passengers, and government agencies, including public and private entities.
