Government Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Government Operations Analyst to support our Product Operations team in support of fulfillment and customer service - an integral role in Cape's rapidly growing privacy-focused communications solutions. You will be a force multiplier - navigating key deliveries, forecasting product throughput, and solving high visibility issues for core government customers. The team you will join solves problems in a high tempo environment aligned with federal business opportunities in support of Cape's rapid growth. As a steward of Cape culture you will do excellent work with a bias for action, while respecting your team and the Cape customer.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact:

  • Mission-Critical Ownership: Assume end-to-end accountability for operational outcomes within the Government/National Security stream. You ensure every operational goal directly supports the end-user's mission success in the field.
  • Tier 2 Technical Authority: Serve as the definitive technical subject matter expert (SME) for post-deployment issues. You resolve high-complexity technical hurdles through advanced troubleshooting and direct coordination with internal engineering or external mission partners.
  • Tactical Deployment & Fulfillment: Lead the operational rollout of hardware and specialized services across the portfolio. You ensure seamless delivery, integration, and operator onboarding for deployments where failure is not an option.
  • Operational Readiness & QA: Execute rigorous, end-to-end QA for weekly releases to validate compatibility across device, OS, and secure network layers. You are the gatekeeper, identifying and blocking high-risk deployments to safeguard operational stability.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Codify complex technical processes into comprehensive internal and external "field manuals" and playbooks. You are building the foundational knowledge base required to scale support for large-scale government programs.
  • High-Tempo Agility: Maintain a "Ready-to-Field" posture. You have the flexibility to lead high-impact projects or pivot resources during surge requirements or critical mission windows.

Are you the candidate we are looking for? You have:

  • Operational Pedigree: 45+ years of experience in technical operations, mission support, or a "get it done" role within military, law enforcement, or national security environments.
  • Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance (minimum) with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience. We highly value the discipline and problem-solving skills developed in specialized service-oriented or high-pressure technical environments.
  • The "Force Multiplier" Mindset: You possess an exceptional capacity to navigate high-volume workflows and competing priorities. You thrive in environments where precision and multitasking are non-negotiable.
  • Mission Communication: Ability to lead high-stakes technical dialogues with clarity and authority. You can translate complex system failures into actionable "go/no-go" information for commanders and stakeholders.
  • Emergent Leadership: You don't just execute tasks; you optimize systems. You have a proven track record (or distinct aptitude) for managing personnel and building world-class support teams.

Bonus Points: Some nice to haves for this role:

  • Tactical Logistics & Supply Chain: Prior experience managing CONUS or OCONUS/Deployed supply chain operations. You understand the unique friction of moving mission-critical gear into theater and keeping it operational once it arrives.
  • Technical Rigor: Hands-on experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android), regression testing, and structured bug reporting. You know how to "break" a product in a lab to ensure it stays "bulletproof" in the field.
  • RF & Network Literacy: Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) communications, cellular architecture (LTE/5G), or complex signal flows. You understand the "plumbing" of how data moves in contested environments.
  • Agency Savvy: Prior experience navigating the unique procurement, security, and operational requirements of government agencies. You speak the language of the mission.
  • Zero-Downtime Mentality: Experience in environments where "system down" means "mission failed."
