Security Guard Level II (Armed)We are seeking a Security Guard Level II (Armed) to support PAC and our government at Waco, TX. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity and is covered under the Service Contract Act. Compensation is competitive and includes an extraordinary benefits package such as health, dental, vision, 401K with company matching, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.QualificationsAge: Must be at least 21 years of ageEducation: High school graduate or possess a General Education Development (GED) equivalentExperience: Minimum of one (1) year of security experience (civilian or military law enforcement/security experience preferred)Language: Speak, read, write, and understand EnglishBackground: Must be able to pass a National Agency Checklist with inquiries (NACI)Drug Status: Must be drug‑free and remain drug‑free for the duration of the contract, subject to initial and random drug screeningLegal Compliance: Cannot be prohibited by state, federal and/or local laws, and/or any rules or regulations from possessing a firearmLicensing: Must possess state weapons permits and state armed guard certification required for armed security guard positions in the respective state of employmentKnowledge and SkillsKnowledge of procedures on use of wire and radio communicationsReport writing capabilitiesSuccessfully completed required training and received appropriate firearms endorsement or licensePhysical DemandsFrequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stoopingOccasional running or sprintingSubduing and detaining violent or potentially violent individualsLift up to 50 poundsAdminister self‑aid and buddy care as defined by AFI 36‑2644 and AFH 36‑2218 Volumes 1 and 2Capable of performing all duties without physical limitations that would preclude full performancePhysical stamina in all forms (endurance, temperature/climate adaptation, etc.)Mental DemandsMust be mentally alert at all timesCapable of taking prompt, efficient action to mitigate emergency situations such as fire, attempted theft, espionage, sabotage, and other acts detrimental to safeguarding Government personnel and propertyDaily contact with military and civilian personnel of various ranks/positions requiring tact and good judgmentPrimary ResponsibilitiesWears, carries, and possesses a firearm in the performance of duties under this ContractProvides armed security services at Force Protection Condition levels CHARLIE and DELTAMust achieve onsite compliance within 04 hours of notification when Level II services are requiredTraining RequirementsMeet training requirements for armed security guards (Level II) in the state of employmentState required training must be performed by a state certified trainerProvide training records/certifications to Government contracting officer's representative (COR)Receive biannual (every six months) trainingReportingAll Guard Level II personnel training summations must be provided biannually to supervisory personnel and the on‑site/off‑site account manager.Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
