ResponsibilitiesPerforms duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety rules.Takes necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations.Answers both internal and external phone calls with professionalism and routes the calls appropriately.Must be able to multitask.Utilizes various computer systems and programs to monitor and/or log the events that occur on shift.Appropriately assigns tasks based upon scheduling and what the task entails.Exercises good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff, and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.Patrol, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety and security of our guests.Coordinates with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.Maintains visible presence and takes action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and organizational assets.Monitors and controls guest access to and from gaming and non-gaming areas.Assist local law enforcement and the Illinois Gaming Agents as needed.Act as a Security Officer when not assigned as a Dispatcher.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
