CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Portal Administrator within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Portal Administrator manages, maintains, and supports internal or external web-based portals by configuring settings, managing user access and content, providing technical assistance, ensuring security, and improving the user experience. Key responsibilities include data entry, troubleshooting technical issues, performing system updates, analyzing web analytics, and collaborating with stakeholders to align the portal with organizational goals. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:
Content and Site Management:
o Administer and supervise content for all portal pages.
o Develop and maintain portal functionality and layouts.
o Integrate new technologies and coordinate with web developers.
User Support & Access:
o Manage user accounts and provide training and support to users.
o Act as a central point of contact for portal-related questions and issues.
o Provide excellent customer service and assist with requests and issues.
System Maintenance & Security:
o Ensure the portal's security and compliance with program requirements.
o Perform system tests, configuration, and upgrades.
o Monitor system metrics to maintain optimal performance.
Data Management & Analytics:
o Update and manage project data in portal databases.
o Analyze web and system analytics to ensure high performance.
o Create and maintain portal documentation and records.
Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience
Security Clearance: TS Clearance Required
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and specific portal platforms like SharePoint or Liferay.
o Understanding of user management and security protocols.
o Strong IT and web administration background.
Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
