Position Summary
United Protective Services is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Security Badge Administrator to support daily security operations through the administration of the property's electronic access control system. This position is responsible for creating, modifying, issuing, tracking, and maintaining security badges for tenants, contractors, employees, and visitors while ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with electronic access control systems, specifically C-CURE .
Essential Job Functions
Create, activate, modify, and deactivate security badges using the C-CURE Access Control System.
Process badge requests for tenants, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate badge issuance records utilizing the Card Issuance Log (Excel Spreadsheet).
Verify authorization documentation before issuing or modifying access credentials.
Ensure badge requests are completed accurately and within established service timelines.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive access control information.
Provide professional customer service to tenants, contractors, visitors, and property management.
Maintain organized electronic and physical records related to badge issuance and access requests.
Coordinate with Property Management, Engineering, and Security Management regarding badge access requests.
Troubleshoot badge issues and coordinate replacement badges when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all United Protective Services policies and client-specific access control procedures.
Perform administrative duties including filing, data entry, scanning, document management, and report preparation.
Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
One (1) year of administrative experience
One (1) year of experience utilizing the C-CURE Access Control System
One (1) year of experience maintaining a Card Issuance Log using Microsoft Excel
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Office Administration, or a related field
One (1) year of customer service experience
One (1) year of security industry experience
Experience working in a commercial office environment
Knowledge of office management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:
Operate the C-CURE Access Control System efficiently and accurately.
Maintain accurate records with exceptional attention to detail. Education Requirements (All)
