What You'll Do
-Perform rack and stack installation of servers, switches, routers, patch panels, and other data center equipment in accordance with rack topology designs
-Run, label, and manage structured cabling including copper and fiber in compliance with data center standards
-Execute initial hardware configuration and validation of network devices including switches and routers
-Support network integration activities including VLAN configuration, port assignments, and basic switching operations
-Assist senior engineers with infrastructure builds, equipment staging, and system commissioning
-Perform hardware troubleshooting, component replacement, and break/fix activities on servers and network equipment
-Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, rack diagrams, and cable documentation
-Adhere to physical security requirements and data center access protocols in classified environments What You Bring
-2–5+ years of hands-on experience in a data center, network operations, or infrastructure technician role
-Demonstrated experience with rack and stack installation and structured cabling in a data center environment
-Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including switching, VLANs, and IP addressing
-Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise networking equipment
-Ability to read and work from rack elevation diagrams and network topology drawings
-Active Top Secret security clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred
-CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification preferred Preferred Qualifications
-Prior experience working in a DoD, IC, or cleared defense contractor environment
-Familiarity with DISA STIG requirements and physical security protocols in classified facilities
-Experience supporting VMware or other virtualized infrastructure environments
-DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I or II certification (A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent)
-Associate's degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
