The Operations Cadet role is designed to develop future operational leaders within Sims through a structured rotational development program. The cadet will gain hands‑on exposure across key operational functions of the business including Ferrous, Non‑Ferrous, Maintenance, Weighbridge, Transport, Trading, Administration and Supervision.The program aims to build operational capability, commercial understanding, leadership skills and a strong safety mindset to support future career progression within Sims.You will be hands‑on at the start (yes, you will need to get your hands dirty), learning the intricacies of the scrap metal industry within our recycling facilities. This will hold you in good stead for a successful career with the world's largest metal recycler.
