Provides quality patient care under the direction of the Physician and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.Participates in shared decision-making, performance improvement activities, and provides input to committees. Accepts accountability for problem-solving issues and works with leaders to resolve clinical issues.Documents interventions in a timely manner. Administers medications when ordered by the overseeing physician and delegated by the Registered Nurse.Assures patient safety by adhering to established policies and procedures and utilizing patient safety resources.Prioritizes interventions based on patient needs in collaboration with nurse and support staff.
