Make sure all reporting requirements are met for area of supervision.General Description:Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facilityLearn all the jobs of your immediate staff.Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staffComplete daily and weekly reports as neededSupervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.Resolve employee's conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.Direct communication with company and outside servicesWork in the Order Management System/Shop FloorWork with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/TrafficWork with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locationsMaintain logs for inbound and outbound trucksAttend meetings as scheduledReports to Safety ManagerOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:Previous security related experience preferred but not requiredPrevious supervisory experience is preferred but not required10-key and computer skills requiredAbility to handle conflictAbility to think critically and problem solveAttention to detail and ability to multi-taskCommunication skills—written and verbalAbility to speak multiple languages is preferred but not requiredSelf-starter and Team playerStrong leadership / management skillsMust be able to demonstrate effective people skillsReliable attendance recordMust be able to pass a Background CheckWorking Conditions:Must be able to work in security guard shacks, security vehicles in hot and cold conditionsMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsMust be able to walk, run, sit and stand for extended periods of timeLift up to 50lbs.
