ResponsibilitiesThe marine engineer maintains the ship's maintenance and repair management system.Schedules overhauls for power plant system of ship.Maintains an inventory of spare parts and replenishing that inventory in a timely manner.Keeps track of maintenance expenses for all repairs.Provides estimates for future maintenance and engineering costs for the ship.Prepares and maintains repair records and provide maintenance schedule based on these records.Inspect and supervisor all repair work internally and externally.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentUSCG License as a Second Assistant Engineer of Motor Vessel of at least 4000 HPSubmit to and pass alcohol and drug tests including but not limited to pre-employment, random, and post-accident testingAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substitutedAbility to maneuver areas within the vessel including engine room spaces and crew areasGood verbal and written communication with others continuouslyProcess calculations continuouslyCapable of successfully completing drug testing.Flexible to work varied schedules including holidays and weekendsOther RequirementsVictory Casino Cruises has a No Visible Tattoo Policy. For this position you must be cleared of all Visible Tattoos. Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background screening.Additional RequirementsYouwillbe required to obtain a TWIC and MMC.
