Seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to identify and resolve performance issues and be responsible for all troubleshooting, repairing/replacing, configuring, monitoring and upgrading of the network on both unclassified and classified systems. This position is on-site and mission essential. Responsibilities: Responsible for implementation and technical support of Cisco Unified Communications related technologies
2nd and 3rd level support of existing systems
Provide installation, transition, and cutover of components of the systems
Provide all maintenance and documentation of ground equipment and systems on a scheduled and unscheduled basis
Test and Integration
Gather trend analysis data on systems, and provide input for resource planning
Provide real-time usable statistics to aid with troubleshooting
Upgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems
Monitoring of Managed Services UC customers via 3rd party network monitoring software
Review work/installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standards
Perform other Voice technology-related duties as assigned Experience/Skills:
5+ years as a Cisco Voice Engineer
CUCM/Unified Communications
Cisco Unity
UCCX Scripting
Routing/Switching Education:
BA/BS Certifications:
IAT II certification required (Security+)
CCNP Collaboration Clearance:
Secret clearance is required to be considered for the position. 1. Scott Air Force Base commute area - on base 4 days weekly, some travel to JBA and conferences and meetings.
2. Joint Base Andrews commute area - on base 4 days weekly, travel every other month to SAFB and conferences and meetings
3. Joint Base Lewis McChord commute area - on base 4 days weekly, travel every other month to SAFB and conferences and meetings Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
