OverviewIV&V Analyst (E30-2026-24980):Bowhead seeks a IV&V Analyst to conduct studies, prepare reports, and advise on system effectiveness for the custom at NSWECDD in Dahlgren, VA.ResponsibilitiesThe IV&V Analyst will conduct comprehensive software review, analysis, and testing that the requirements are correctly defined, and to confirm that the system correctly implements the required functionality and security requirements.Job duties include but are not limited to:Weapon system testing including system and software analysisWill attempt to find vulnerabilities and “break” the software to confirm effectiveness and useability.Inspect testing software, systems or processes to ensure compliance with requirements standards and user expectations.QualificationsBachelor of Science degree requiredFive plus (5+) years systems testing within a weapon systems environment.IV&V experience is required.Experience with Ada, fire control systems, and weapons systems are preferred.Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 25 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodicallySECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
