Security Specialist II – TS/SCI Clearance $50KThe Security Specialist II will maintain the overall safety and security within the agency and assist in the timely dissemination of security information throughout all departments.Essential Requirements The ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret/SCI level, requiring U.S. Citizenship.Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required.Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.Key Duties and Responsibilities Assists in maintaining the overall safety and security within the agency.Ensures compliance with all security directives.Assists in the implementation of security-related procedures, such as control and management of Limited or Vault Type Rooms, access authorizations, and registration.Assists in the control and handling of classified material.Reviews classified visits, foreign visits and assignments, and foreign travel requests.Helps investigate, track, and report Federal and Contractor staff security infractions.Assists in the in and out processing of staff, including initiating applicants for security clearances and badges, administering electronic questionnaires, and providing follow-up.Assists with acquiring badges, badge turn‑ins, debriefings, and account terminations.Tracks Federal compliance with security training (Annual Security Refresher Briefing).Maintains training records for all employees.Assists with FACTS data entry for Foreign National Unclassified Visits and assignments.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a minimum of two to four (2‑4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls; required to speak and hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
