Area Supervisor - Palos Verdes
Job Description: Part-time Area Supervisor of School Crossing Guards Location: Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes & Lomita
ACMS is looking for a dedicated individual to join our leadership team in Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes & Lomita! Leadership is the heart of our mission, "Keeping Kids Safe". The Leadership Team overseeing and managing their local School Crossing Guard programs, in this field-based position.
What we are looking for in our Leadership: • Be self-motivated and dependable. • Be a personable, friendly and passionate leader. • Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record. • Able to lift/ transport various items or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. • Must be available to work with crossing guards at their field assignments both before and after school. • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. • Basic computer skills are required.
This position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates residing in Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes & Lomita are preferred. This is a seasonal and part-time position that follows the school calendar - no work during summer, school breaks, holidays, or teacher workdays. Compensation is $22.00 - $23.00 an hour, depending on experience, 5 hours a day, on school days only. Cell phone, tablet and mileage reimbursement provided. Position is eligible for yearly bonus.
