Our work depends on a Network Engineer joining our team.How a Network Engineer will Make an ImpactResponsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networksConfigure, deploy, and manage load balancing tools, firewalls, email security appliances, and web proxiesDevelop and implement security policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and organizational requirements for security policy implementationMonitor SecDev tools for performance and security logs to identify and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilitiesParticipate in security incident response activities, including the investigation, documentation, and remediation of security incidentsConduct regular network security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for network security assessmentsManage F5s, firewalls, email security appliances, and web proxy firmware upgrades and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure for upgrades and patchingWork closely with other IT and security teams to design and implement network security solutions for collaborationMaintain detailed and accurate documentation of firewall configurations, changes, and network diagrams for documentationPerform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to boundary devices to ensure they are up to date with the latest security features and firmwareWhat You'll Need to SucceedEducation: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of ScienceRequired Experience: 2+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, and related protocolsSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/PolyRequired Skills and Abilities: Experience with network security concepts and technologiesOther specific skills or competencies: communication and problem solvingLocation: On SiteUS Citizenship RequiredIAT Level II certifiedAbility to work on call rotation as neededWork hours: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri).
