CI Analyst – MIDJob ID: R0165394; Location: Quantico, Virginia, United States; Full‑time; Clearance: TS/SCI.Purpose and ImpactThe MID CI Analyst supports the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Office of Entity Vetting (EV) by delivering timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports that inform decision‑makers about risks to U.S. Department of Defense personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide. This role aligns with NISPOM, DoDI 5220.32, DoDI 5205.85, and Public Law 116‑92 to protect classified and sensitive information.Essential ResponsibilitiesProduce all‑source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities, covering capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten DoD interests worldwide.Address regional and functional CI topics, including foreign intelligence threats to the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), DoD supply chains, emerging technologies, and foreign technical equipment.Provide analytic support to senior officials, collectors, operators, and other DoD, IC, and law‑enforcement stakeholders for DCSA's CI programs.Work ScheduleMonday – Friday, 8‑hour days, typical 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (with lunch breaks). Some daily schedule flexibility contingent on approval from the team lead/PM and within building access hours of 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem‑solving techniques.Experience with data manipulation in databases and Microsoft software packages.Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.Strong verbal and written intelligence communication skills.Proficiency with security and supply‑related data systems such as NISS, DISS, NCCS, AMPS WebFLIS, and ACCESS.Experience conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including report preparation, conference leadership, and briefings.Research experience at classified and unclassified levels (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office).Clearance RequiredTS/SCIMinimum EducationBachelor's degree (experience substitution requires a government waiver).Minimum Years of Experience8 yearsRequired CertificationsNone required.
