Security Officer
Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $18.36. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand, walk, move, lift objects up to 80 lbs., valid driver's license, and previous work experience with the public in a service setting.
Physical demands and work environment include sitting, standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and mental concentration, analysis, and formulation. Work hours may vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company.
