Overview As a Senior Analyst on the Investment Analytics team at Cypress Creek, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the team's efforts in project valuation. The Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain deep exposure to multiple facets of a growing industry, rapidly develop their career, and earn highly competitive pay. The Senior Analyst will report to the Director, Investment Analytics and support the group through functions including:Solar, storage, and natural gas/firm generation asset valuation and project finance modeling, including expected project value and forecasted capital sources including project debt and tax equityTransaction support for project financings and asset acquisitions & salesExecuting cross-divisional Corporate Development activities on behalf of the CIO's officeDevelopment of investment recommendation memos evaluating project risk & return profilesConducting valuation and investment analysis for the firm's Financial Sponsors and Board of DirectorsCollaboration with other teams, including engineering, development, and our operating fleet, to develop a valuation thesis for all key marketsIn addition to close collaboration with the CIO, the new hire will have the opportunity to work closely with the other members of the Cypress Creek senior leadership teamExact title will be commensurate with experienceEducation & Experience Required BA/BS degree (MBAs welcome)At least three years of Excel-based financial modeling experience, preference for solar/storage/gas valuation experienceAt least three years of finance experience in investment banking, private equity, principal investing, structured/project finance, corporate development, and/or corporate finance/FP&AKnowledge of energy markets and a variety of energy technologiesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong desire to work in the energy industrySelf-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and accountabilityStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environmentOrganized, diligent, and able to track/manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basisFormal credit and underwriting training a plusSuccessful completion of an Excel-based modeling test will be requiredLocated or able to relocate to San Francisco or New York CityEmbrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek RenewablesLocation We have a strong preference for the candidate to be based in a CCR office either in New York City or San Francisco. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office schedule of three days per week.Compensation The salary range for the position is $100,000-$120,000 plus bonus and benefits.
