These situations can include political instability, terrorism, naturaldisasters,or technical failures.This position requires the ability to work on weekends and holidays and onrotational shifts. The role isonsite onlyatthe client's offices in Minneapolis,MN.The shift rotation for this position is 11:00pm – 7:00am, Friday – Tuesday.GSOC Analysts willexhibitflexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the work schedule and shift workload. They must be self-starters, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.GSOC Analystswill be managed by the Embedded GSOCSupervisorday-to-day butwill also report toSibylline'sIntelligence Operations team. Full support and guidance will be provided from our head office, including training and professional development.EssentialFunctions / ResponsibilitiesMonitor security alerts, surveillance feeds, and threat intelligence sources in real-time toidentifypotential security incidents or threats.Analyze security events todeterminetheir severity, origin, and potential impact on the organization or client.Act promptly to security incidents byinitiatingappropriate responseprocedures, coordinating with internal teams, law enforcement, or emergency services as needed.Collect and assess relevant threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging risks and trends affecting security posture.Accurately document all security events, incidents, and responsesinincident management systems, ensuring thorough records for post-incident review.Provide clear,timelyupdates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and response teams, about ongoing security situations.Identifyincidents requiring escalation and follow established protocols to ensure swift action and resolution.Operate andmaintainsecurity tools and systems, such as access controls, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsKnowledge,Skills,andAbilitiesAttentive, organized, and detail oriented.A quick learner with the ability to multi-task.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.A strong teamplayer with the ability to work independently as needed.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Abilityto work under pressure and remain calm during emergencies.QualificationsHigh School diplomaor equivalent;bachelor'sdegreein security, criminal justice, orarelatedfield ispreferred.Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring systems, and other incident management and/or security platforms preferred.Requires the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate. Schedule may include rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities to ensure continuous coverage.Additional InformationWork Environment/Physical RequirementsThis position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a virtual office environmentutilizinga computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required tointeract collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee maybe requiredto occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
