Overview ScioTeq Rugged Computing products are designed to meet extreme operating environments governed by MIL STD and EN military specifications. These products are rarely sold as “off the shelf” products. Customers typically require customization for their specific applications and requirements. This often requires creative problem solving, custom electronics design approaches, and adaptable baseline designs. We need an engineer with a unique skill set that pertains to both product sustainment and design.ResponsibilitiesOversight of Smart Display configurations for customer projectElectrical design for customization requirements for customer projects including printed circuit board assemblies, cables, and EMI mitigationEnsuring MIL-STD product qualification (thermal, environmental, EMI, etc)Documentation control for technical documents and design filesTroubleshooting and problem resolution for existing product issuesEngineering Change ManagementManufacturing and Purchasing supportQualifications4 - 7 years' related electronics product development experience in manufacturing industriesBSEE strongly preferred or equivalent experiencePrinted circuit board schematic design experienceDemonstrated hands-on lab experience prototyping, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysisEMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting experience is desirableDefense industry product development experience is preferredManufacturing ERP system experience is desirableDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsOfferColleagues who share determination and high standards of work that move the world forwardCareer opportunities in an international environmentChallenging projects in high tech marketsA competitive salary package and a great company culture with many development opportunitiesScioTeq LLC is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
