Candidates with an active Secret or higher clearance are strongly encouraged to apply.Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) – Professional ServicesKey ResponsibilitiesHandle a variety of impactful customer technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures, creating how‑to's, and productionalizing customer use cases.Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work and collaborate with customers on specifications.Guide strategic customers as they implement transformational big‑data projects, third‑party migrations, and end‑to‑end design, build, and deployment of AI applications.Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement projects that lead to customer understanding and adoption of Databricks.Provide an escalated level of support for customer operational issues.Collaborate with the Databricks Technical, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer teams to ensure technical components are delivered to meet customer needs.Work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback and guide rapid resolution of engagement‑specific issues.QualificationsU.S. Top Secret clearance required.6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.Proficient in Python or Scala.Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.Working knowledge of MLOps.Experience designing and deploying high‑performance end‑to‑end data architectures.Experience in technical project delivery, managing scope and timelines.Strong documentation and white‑boarding skills.Client experience and conflict management.Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.CompensationPay Range: $180,656 – $248,360 USD per year (based on geographic zone).
