Dean delivers resilient, secure, and innovative power and technology solutions through engineering expertise and smart systems integration.ResponsibilitiesAdministration and maintenance of high‑performance computer configurations and related systems and peripherals, participation in system integration projects, system performance analyses, problem resolution, and system security initiatives.Work with senior staff on development of system management tools.Collaborate with other company departments to provide a comprehensive support infrastructure for a wide range of commercial, corporate, and governmental users.Maintain system documentation and maintenance records, generating weekly and/or monthly summary status reports.Perform staging and setup as needed for project support and self‑instruction.Work closely with Systems Engineers to install and configure networks based on an Installation Design Package (IDP) that satisfies the customer's needs.Research equipment from a multitude of manufacturers to resolve technical issues during installation and testing.Collaborate closely with the Design Department to identify and correct design problems during the design cycle.Suggest process improvements and cost savings to aid the Implementation Department for future installs.Provide systems support for a large‑scale, high‑performance computing center, including installation and management of computer systems, workstations, operating systems, peripherals, and system interfaces; monitor system usage and evaluate performance against defined goals; develop and maintain systems documentation.Provide designs for automation systems, including a list of quantities and types of materials used, and produce user guideline documentation and manuals for custom programs and applications.QualificationsClearance / Citizen type: Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information and the ability to obtain a Public Trust.Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; 0+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.What we OfferA collaborative team inspired by the way engineering and innovation enhance customer outcomes, improve lives, and change the world for the better.An opportunity to lead and build a business with the support of an industry‑leading firm that has been in business for 75 years.Investment in your skills and expertise through a combination of professional and technical training programs, leadership training, and tuition reimbursement.Open and transparent communication with senior leadership and local office management.AbilitiesExposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.Sitting for extended periods of time.Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.Have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Identify and understand the speech of another person.#J-18808-Ljbffr
