Code Enforcement Specialist

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.

This is a part time role, working up to 24 hours a week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
• Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
• Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
• Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 1+ years of inspection, administrative, clerical, and customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) with conflict resolution techniques.
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes initiative, able to follow direction well.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills
• Attention to detail with strong follow-up and follow through skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.
