Lead Information System Security Officer (ISSO)This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.Cherokee Preting is looking for a Lead Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Analytic Innovation Office. The ISSO will support the delivery of end-to-end expertise for designing, developing, sustaining and modernizing mission‑critical capabilities.Compensation & BenefitsPay commensurate with experience.Full‑time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and ensuring all systems achieve and maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO).Serve as primary ISSO responsible for Risk Management Framework implementation and system accreditation activities.Develop and maintain authority to operate ATO packages, security control assessments, and continuous monitoring programs.Coordinate with authorizing officials, security teams, and auditors.Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and ensure timely remediation of security findings.Implement security controls and ensure compliance with all applicable security requirements.Provide ISSO support for multiple systems and mentor junior ISSO staff.Experience, Education, Skills, & AbilitiesMust have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an ISSO for DoD/IC systems.Must have a DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security).Able to work independently with limited oversight.Experience leading small teams, strategic planning and mentoring junior staff.Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.Legal Disclaimer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability or any other status protected under applicable federal, state or local law.Many of our job openings require access to government buildings or military installations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
