Primary responsibilities include researching, interpreting, and applying immigration statutes, policies, and regulations to the processing of complex immigration action cases.GS‑05 duties: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing.GS‑07 duties: Write office memoranda and letters for final approval; make recommendations—oral or written—for process improvement; provide service to internal or external customers; perform data entry for official records and retrieve information from systems.Qualifications Deadline to meet qualifications: 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/20/2026.GS‑05 level: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least GS‑04 level, which equips you with the skills needed for the duties of the position. Alternatively, 4 years of full‑time education above high school, from an accredited college or university, may substitute for the required experience.GS‑07 level: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least GS‑05 level, required for the duties. Alternatively, one year of full‑time graduate education from an accredited college or university may substitute. Superior academic achievement may also substitute, requiring either (1) a standing in the upper third of the graduating class or major subdivision; or (2) a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale over four years of education; or (3) a GPA of 3.5 or higher for courses in the major field over the final two years; or (4) membership in a national scholastic honor society.#J-18808-Ljbffr
