Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team for a 6-month assignment. This role offers a hybrid schedule after 90 days and requires US citizenship due to contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and subcontract management within regulated industries.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts & Legal, Business, or Finance.
  • Experience with FAR 15-compliant subcontracting activities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • US Person/US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
  • Prior work experience in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • DoD procurement subcontracting experience with FAR 15.
  • Experience managing various subcontract types, including FFP, CP, and CPIF.
  • Understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information.
  • Support subcontract negotiations, including pricing and terms and conditions.
  • Develop supplier strategies that deliver the best overall value to the client.
