International SOF Support SME

Job Description The International SOF Support SME coordinates partner nation SOF support to US operations, tracks requests, maintains operational pictures, supports planning forums, manages secure coordination facilities, and publishes situation reports. Requires SOF selection graduation, bachelor's degree, multinational operational and GCC/TSOC staff experience, foreign disclosure experience, DoW Secret clearance, and SCI eligibility.

Summary of Duties Coordinates partner nation SOF support, tracks requests, maintains operational picture, integrates inputs into planning, and manages coordination events, reports, disclosures, and facility operations.

Duties Identifies international SOF requirements requiring deconfliction, synchronization, and coordination. Tracks partner nation requests for support, information, guidance, and deployment status. Maintains common operational picture of partner nation SOF operations and activities. Plans and executes coordination events with TSOCs, NATO, and partner nation headquarters. Coordinates partner nation inputs to USSOCOM, TSOC, and component planning processes. Integrates partner nation SOF capabilities into enterprise and multinational planning efforts. Develops and publishes J3-I situation reports using allied and operational inputs.

Position Requirements Graduate of US SOF component selection and assessment program such as US Army SFQC, BUDS, or another SOF component equivalent. Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university. 1 year recent combat/operational experience within the last 5 years as part of ISAF or similar multinational special operation. 3 years recent regional experience within the last 7 years as a member of GCC or TSOC staff. Graduate of a Joint Professional Military Education course, Intermediate Development Course, or Senior Professional Military Education Course. 1 year experience in an international SOF environment, such as assignment to MN SOF headquarters, NATO SOF HQ, or GCC coalition coordination center. Experience with Foreign Disclosure and working with international partner information exchanges. Current DoD Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access.
