Joining a rapidly growing Security Engineering team, the full-time Senior Application Security Engineer will conduct application security reviews, manage vulnerability assessments, and enhance AI security practices while working remotely.Key responsibilitiesConduct application security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features across the productPerform and enhance SAST/DAST operations, managing vulnerability backlogs and remediation trackingApply and improve AI security review processes for LLM-integrated features and conduct penetration testing on web and API surfacesRequired qualifications5+ years in security engineering with expertise in Application and AI security, including threat modeling and vulnerability managementProficiency in Python and a strong understanding of web application security principlesHands-on experience with application security tools such as Semgrep and Burp SuiteFamiliarity with AI/ML security risks, including prompt injection and model abuseTransformative AI fluency with active use of AI tools to enhance security processes
