Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents professionally and appropriately
- Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized entry
- Provide emergency response including de-escalation, detainment support, or coordination with law enforcement when required
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner while enforcing site rules
- Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed
- Experience: Prior experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role required
- Licensing: Valid armed guard license where required by state law
- Legal authorization to carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable regulations
- Training: Certification in arrest control, restraint techniques, or equivalent defensive tactics
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local security and firearm regulations
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

- Active or recent federal security clearance
- Prior experience protecting federal or critical infrastructure sites
- Training in conflict resolution, crisis response, or security management
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Effective verbal communication and de-escalation skills
- Professional judgment and emotional composure in high-pressure situations
- Ability to document incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Ability to respond to incidents that may require physical engagement
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs as needed
