Archivist I job opening at TSLAC The Texas State Library and Archives Commission has one opening for this full-time position: Archivist I: $3,830.00-$4,040.00 monthlyJoin our dynamic and innovative team at the Texas State Archives, where we preserve and safeguard the vital historical record of the state of Texas. We provide archival, genealogical, and historical information to the public and to state government in person and online, including through the Texas Digital Archive , our portal to electronic archival state government records and digitized archival records and collections.This archivist position will be engaged in appraisal, accessioning, processing, and describing government records and manuscripts in all formats (including electronic) and providing reference support. Six months of experience in the arrangement and description of archives and manuscripts (internship/capstone/volunteer experience counts!) is required.
