Summary
Japanese airline company is seeking Airport Operation staff at their JFK Int'l Airport location.
Pay rate range: $22 - 26/hr (DOE)
• Job Description
• Represent a Japanese major airline in day-to-day passenger operations by supervising handling company staff, while servicing passengers in all phases of arrivals, check-in, boarding gate, baggage support, back-office duties and departures.
• Interaction with passengers, while servicing their requests and following rules and regulations of the airlines, states, countries and other governmental agencies that may be involved.
• Provide direction, guidance and reports to on-duty staff on any anticipated or existing problems in order to ensure that good service and the safe handling of passengers is executed efficiently.
• Create daily/monthly/quarterly reports and statistics when needed.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices for payment processing, supply and meal ordering, and data collection.
• Analysis of weather maps, airport diagrams, and reports to make good judgement for station coordination.
• Other duties as assigned
• Minimum Requirements
• Previous experience working in airline industry at least 1years (not mandatory)
• Must be available to work on weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills
• Typing and computer proficiency
• Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred, but not required
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma
• Fully vaccinated
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs with no restrictions.
• Preferred requirements
• Experience with Amadeus and/or Altea
