In this position you will conduct open-source intelligence research and analysis using your designated language skills to identify, assess, and report threats and other significant events affecting the organization's mission, personnel, and facilities. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract PSC position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Conditions of Employment: Education: Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting open source research and analysis of threats, political violence, terrorism, or suspicious activity directed against personnel, facilities, and/or protected interests. Experience producing finished analytical products and threat assessments for investigative, protective intelligence, and/or law enforcement consumers. Experience preparing and presenting written and oral briefings on complex threat or investigative matters. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
