As a Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson, you support inmate workers as they build hands‑on skills and contribute to daily operations. It focuses on training, oversight, safety, and operational support across multiple work areas. As a Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson, you will perform the following duties:Worker Training: Instruct inmate workers in manufacturing methods and safe tool and equipment useOperational Records: Complete daily production logs, enter data, and submit attendance informationSafety Monitoring: Search work areas for contraband, monitor inmate movement, and maintain tool controlPlant Oversight: Use software to track orders, materials, shipping, and purchasing needsProduction Support: Review reports, help set production goals, and recommend equipment improvementsInterested in learning more?
