Salary: $15.80 per hour

Terms/Benefits: 2026-2027 School Year

10 month position - 0.5 hours per day in the morning

Positions under 30 hours per week do not qualify for benefits

General Information:

Assists children in safely crossing thoroughfares.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assists children through intersections and thoroughfares at established crosswalks.
  • Instructs children in appropriate signals and directs them in accordance with traffic signals.
  • Alerts motorists to the presence of children by displaying appropriate signs.
  • Places and removes school zone signs.
  • Reports motorists who violate school zone traffic laws to school administrator.
