Position Summary
United Protective Services is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Security Badge Administrator to support daily security operations through the administration of the property's electronic access control system. This position is responsible for creating, modifying, issuing, tracking, and maintaining security badges for tenants, contractors, employees, and visitors while ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with electronic access control systems, specifically C-CURE .
Essential Job Functions
Process, issue, activate, modify, renew, and deactivate employee, tenant, contractor, and visitor badges.
Verify identification documents, authorization forms, badge expiration dates, access permissions, and assigned access levels.
Enter and maintain accurate information within personnel, visitor, and access-control databases.
Operate badge printers, cameras, scanners, computers, and related identification-processing equipment.
Assist visitors, employees, tenants, contractors, and vendors with badging and access-related inquiries.
Provide clear instructions regarding badging procedures and property access requirements.
Maintain organized badge records, visitor logs, authorization documents, and audit documentation.
Monitor upcoming badge expirations and complete renewals within required deadlines.
Troubleshoot routine badge-production, printing, and access-control issues.
Escalate access discrepancies, security concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate security or property-management personnel.
Support periodic badge audits and access-control reviews.
Coordinate with security officers, facilities personnel, property management, and authorized tenant representatives.
Deliver badges, documents, emails, and other materials to building lobbies, security posts, and garage gates as needed.
Protect confidential, proprietary, and personally identifiable information.
Perform additional administrative and security-support duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
One to three years of administrative, clerical, data-entry, or office-support experience.
Advanced typing proficiency of approximately 45–50 words per minute.
Proficiency with C-Cure 9000, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong data-entry, filing, recordkeeping, and document-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to courteously enforce established security and access-control policies.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and dependable follow-through.
Must be punctual, dependable, organized, and capable of meeting established deadlines.
Must successfully complete all required pre-employment background screening and clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in office administration, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Previous experience with visitor-management, badging, security, or access-control operations.
Experience operating access-control systems and badge-printing equipment.
